Psalm 119:11
"Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You."
Even though we have not started yet, I encourage you to spend the next few weeks memorizing this verse. Let it encourage you to seek more!
Starts March 1st at midnight and runs til March 30th, 2011. All are welcome to join me in this. This started as a challenge to myself and then I thought, why go it alone? So, if you are brave and willing, then follow us and everyday I will post a scripture everyday that we can memorize together. Hiding God's word in your heart is such a powerful tool that we often forget to use. Sometimes I find myself in a situation searching for the right words to share with someone and I realize how little I have memorized. Or I just need to hear the words myself to keep myself focused or lift my spirit and my mind runs a blank. Just think, we will all be so much better equipped by the end!
Just so you know, memorization is a good way to fight Dementia and Alzheimer's diseases, so that's a bonus! ;)
